Contri account deletion
You can delete your Contri account from inside the app, or request deletion by email.
Delete your account in the app
- Open Contri.
- Go to Profile or Settings.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm deletion.

Data deleted
- Account and profile data
- Saved UPI ID
- App account data that can be safely deleted
- Authentication and session data where applicable
Data that may be retained
- Minimal records required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute handling, or group-money integrity
- Anonymized or group history records where deletion would affect other users' expenses, balances, or settlement records
Timeline
Deletion requests are processed within 30 days unless retention is required for legal, security, or dispute reasons.
Payments
Contri does not hold, process, or verify payments.
